Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho coach mother dies at 70
Micho mother, Rada, has died aged 70,news greeted by an outpouring of condolences from across football for the Chipolopolo coach and his family.
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) said in a statement:
The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has learnt with deep shock the death of the mother of Chipolopolo coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic in Serbia.

FAZ president Andrew Kamanga, his executive committee and secretariat staff commiserates with Micho in his moment of grief especially that he is in Zambia on his tour of duty.
Kamanga says the football family are mourning with Micho who has found a new home in Zambia.
“Losing a loved one, especially one as close as a mother is very saddening. We mourn with coach Micho who has lived with the Zambian family for almost four months and has become a member of our football family,” he says.
“We extend a warm hand to him and his family and pray that God may ease the pain. On our part we will do our best to ensure that we ease the burden of the loss.”
Micho’s mother Rada died aged 70 and in the coach’s words, “I have remained just with best memories of herself in my heart, mind and soul with the best ingredients being the values she engraved in me.”
“My mother will forever inside me and whatever I did in African football I owe it to her.”
Micho took up the Chipolopolo mantle on February 3, 2020.
